Sambava Tomato Frog

Sambava Tomato Frog

The literature informs me that this species lives in “swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes”.

I am now envisioning frog-filled marshes appearing and disappearing Brigadoon-style.

About

This site features my photography. Starting as a hobby to see as many species as I could before they went extinct, it's become more.

I've learned that many zoos are no longer cages of desperation, but have become triage centers combating extinction. They work tirelessly, at little to no pay, to save the world the rest of us are actively destroying.
